- It’s easy to quickly create a surprisingly gorgeous textured fabric for bags, cushions, washcloths, skirts and even jackets.
- Using a variety of hook sizes and weights of yarn you can achieve fabrics that range from dense to very delicate with a nice drape.
- Fabrics made with variegated yarn like Poems, Noro, and handpainted yarns are stunning when created with Tunisian crochet.
I’m teaching Tunisian Crochet in a 2 hour workshop at the Naked Sheep Knitshop. This is an opportunity to learn the basic stitches as well as how to increase and decrease in Tunisian crochet.
We’ll even learn how to magically create ‘knitted’ or stockinette-type fabric using this crochet technique. The class details fees and locations are posted below. Equipment and supplies can be purchased at The Naked Sheep Knitshop with a 10% discount 1 week before class begins.

Some call Tunisian crochet a marriage between knitting and crochet. Tunisian crochet produces a lovely and very sturdy fabric that can be used for many objects including garments and home decor. In this class, you will learn to use a Tunisian crochet hook to make 4 different stitch patterns.

I took the Tunisian crochet class from you last year. I did crochet all the pieces for a purse using your bag as a guide. Did you ever write up the pattern? I am stalled sewing it together. I know I need to block it first. any other thoughts? thanks, Linda
